Whistleblowers' support scheme launch

Our whistleblowers' support scheme will help staff in secondary care who have suffered detriment as a result of raising concerns to find alternative employment within the NHS.

With input from a design group comprised of NHS staff and members of the whistleblowing community, we are piloting this scheme to provide tailored support for around 10 whistleblowers with applying for new roles.

The scheme will offer a range of support including coaching, redeployment support, outplacement support, practical and psychological support, training, work placements, shadowing and mentoring.

If you are interested in finding out more about the scheme, join us at an event in London in September where you can:

  • gain an overview of the scheme
  • learn about the application process
  • provide your initial thoughts and feedback on the scheme
  • provide feedback on how we can support you through this process

Places are limited to 40 and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

To register your interest in the first instance, please email Samara Herman at samara.herman1@nhs.net.
