New Regional Medical Director of NHS Improvement announced

Dr Emma Whicher has been appointed as Regional Medical Director of NHS Improvement (London region).

Joining from South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust, where she has been medical director since 2012, Dr Whicher will join the senior team to drive and support both urgent improvements at the frontline and the long term systems of the London healthcare economy.

Emma will continue with her clinical practice for one day a week and will take up the post in February 2017.
