Be Part of Our Team ... A Great Place to Work
Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC) is a large specialist provider of community healthcare with a track record of delivery. Our colleagues provide services to people across Birmingham and the West Midlands, including many of the most vulnerable in our communities.
We have a strategy that sets out our refreshed - and ambitious - vision to provide the Best Care to people in Healthy Communities; with new organisational values and four strategic objectives that set our priorities so that we continue to improve both for our colleagues and the people we serve.
We operate within two Sustainability and Transformation Partnerships (STPs). We have helped shape the Birmingham and Solihull STP “Live Healthy: Live Happy” strategy and are committed to playing our part to support the delivery of its vision of a more preventative health and social care system supporting people to live healthy and happy lives in their own communities. We are also a partner in the Black Country and West Birmingham STP especially as a result of our community service provision to the Sandwell and West Birmingham health economy.
As well as being consistent with the our two local Sustainability and Transformation Partnerships (STPs), our strategy is also aligned to the programmes and priorities of the NHS long-term plan which include a focus on: integration of services; personalised care for people with long term conditions and older people with frailty, including dementia; improving diagnosis, early intervention and personalised support for children and young people with learning disabilities and autism; use of technology and preventative models of care.
Birmingham is a wonderful place to live. It’s one of, if not the most, cosmopolitan and diverse cities in the UK. BCHC are an advocate of diversity and strive to mirror our community as much as possible.
