We are seeking an experienced and talented individual who will add value to our strong, vibrant and forward thinking Board and who has experience and a strong interest in frontline quality and quality improvement. Preferably, you will have strong connections with or in depth knowledge of Bedfordshire and Luton, have lived or personal experience as a service user or carer, and/or have clinical experience. A sound understanding of the NHS and/or third sector would be an advantage.

You will need sound judgement and possess a clear understanding of governance along with a commitment to public service values and a collegiate approach. It is essential that candidates have worked at a senior level in a large, complex organisation, and are able to make a distinct contribution to the strategic direction and future success of ELFT.
