Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (ICFT) is at the forefront of ground-breaking change in the delivery of Health and Social Care Services for the populations of Tameside and Glossop. We are committed to radically transforming the delivery of health and care services for local people to improve healthy life expectancy and to ensure our services are sustainable for the future.

We have recently been rated ‘Good’ by Care Quality Commission (CQC) with areas of ‘Outstanding’ in our most recent CQC assessment. This is an ideal opportunity to share your talents and expertise to make a positive difference to the lives of people served by the ICFT.

At a time of significant opportunity for the Trust we are seeking two new Non-Executive Directors to join our Board. Specifically, we are looking for two distinct candidates, one who has a clinical background either in Health or Primary Care, to further strengthen our Board’s experience as we create an integrated approach to service delivery; and one who has a CCAB qualification and a financial background who can apply their knowledge and networks at a non-executive level to enhance our Board and Chair our Audit Committee.

An exceptional communicator, you will bring an appreciation of robust corporate governance and a commitment to our values; offering challenge, support and passion to our Board. These will be challenging and highly rewarding roles offering you the opportunity to improve health outcomes for our population now and in the future.

As we are seeking to improve the diversity of our Board to make it truly representative of our workforce and local population we are keen to receive applications from all protected characteristics and those who either have a strong connection to their local community or those with lived experience, either as carers or service users.
