Next week there are two different events taking place on Thursday 3 November in London and Friday 4 November in Leeds.
Morning events led by NHS Improvement and NHS England

On the afternoons of 3 and 4 November NHS Improvement is holding events on the challenge of relentless delivery and how to make change happen at the same time - provider chairs and chief executives have been invited to attend. For further information and to register please see here.
The morning and afternoon events are in the same venues: Thursday 3 November in London at Holiday Inn Regent’s Park, Carburton Street, London, W1W 5EE, and Friday 4 November in Leeds at Aspire, 2 Infirmary Street, Leeds, LS1 2JP.
Agency price caps update: interim very senior manager pay
We wrote to you last week to let you know we’ve introduced a new approval process for the procurement of interim very senior managers (VSMs) to help you reduce your agency spend.
From October 31, you’ll be required to get prior approval from us before hiring agency VSMs earning more than £750 per day or to extend an existing contract.
Approval will be given to business cases that clearly demonstrate maximum value for money against the set of assessment criteria outlined in the approval process note.

Single Oversight Framework: shadow segmentation published
We’ve published a shadow (or indicative) segmentation of all providers ahead of the first formal segmentation next month. This segmentation is based on performance data and other information gathered before the Single Oversight Framework came into place on 1 October 2016.
The segments determine the level of support each trust needs across the five themes of quality of care, finance and use of resources, operational performance, strategic change, and leadership and improvement capability.
