Interim very senior manager (VSM) pay approval process

We’ve published a new form for interim turnaround directors and an updated interim VSM remuneration approval form, to use for the procurement of interim agency VSMs earning above £750 a day.

NHS foundation trusts: updated requirements for quality reports

We have updated the requirements for 2017/18 quality reports and requirements for assurance on quality reports to reflect your feedback.

Please make your governance team aware of the updated requirements, which are mandatory for foundation trusts. 

NHS trusts: annual governance statement

NHS trusts are required to include an annual governance statement in your annual report. We have now published the requirements for 2017/18,  together with the format of other statements for annual reports. 

Please make your governance and finance teams aware of these requirements for the coming year end.

The Strategic Executive Information System (StEIS) is moving next week

From 5 March 2018, we will host the StEIS system used to report and monitor the progress of serious incident investigations across the NHS.

As a result, modules will be ‘read only’ from 5.30pm Thursday 1 March. The system will be fully accessible from Monday 5 March at the new URL, 'https://steis.improvement.nhs.uk/'.
