Efficiency guidance, tools and examples available now

Working with HFMA and finance directors on the Provider Cost Improvement Group, we've revised the NHS efficiency map to signpost finance professionals to existing efficiency guidance, tools and examples.

Using the efficiency map can help you to:

  • easily find best practice guidance on NHS efficiency opportunities and processes
  • identify new efficiency areas and consider where you may benefit from taking a different approach
  • review the efficiency elements of your 2017/19 operational plans

It will be regularly updated and accompanied by best practice case studies as they are finalised, starting with one on enhanced nursing care.

Our good practice guidance will help you to easily identify areas of improvement within your current rostering practices.
