Regional events underline A&E priorities
We've participated in a range of regional events to launch the national A&E plan.
Members of our Emergency Care Improvement Programme (ECIP) were joined by our chief executive Jim Mackey, and our regional teams.
We've been directly involved in developing the A&E plan and are seen as experts who can advise and promote good practice based on the work we are undertaking with systems across the country. Feedback from the regional events that have taken place has been very good.
The mood at the meetings was positive with a determination to rise to the challenge. A&E remains a high priority issue for the NHS. We need to continue the good work and build on it so that patients get the best quality care.

Expectations are high, we can meet them.
