Community indicators project

The scorecard is a set of indicators that can be used to compare trusts to peers on patient and staff experience, and the effectiveness and responsiveness of their services.

There have been relatively few nationally mandated data standards available and this project aims to provide the most comprehensive view of the routinely collected data. We have been working with providers of community services since November 2014 to develop a set of indicators that can be used to compare the quality of their services.

The next WebEx will be taking place on 12 April, if interested in joining, please e-mail

We've worked in partnership with providers, the Care Quality Commission and NHS England to develop the scorecard.

Providers were engaged in scoping and testing the indicators as well as the design of the scorecard.
