Autumn 2019 Costing Regional Forums

Last autumn's Costing Regional Forums took place from Monday 23 to Friday 27 September. The five events, at venues across the country, brought together the NHS costing community to share good practice and explore how costing data is used in wider contexts to support strategic decision making. Spring 2019 Costing Regional Forums

March 2019 again saw Costing Regional Forums (CRFs) bring together the NHS costing community to share good practice and explore how good data is used in wider contexts to support strategic decision making. This was the fifth set of CRFs, with the next scheduled for September 2019.

Once again, the events were designed to be as interactive as possible, with topic-specific workshops, Q&A sessions, peer learning and structured networking opportunities. Highlights included:

  • Using PLICS and Model Hospital to drive clinician engagement
  • Scan4Safety: Learning from Sites of Excellence
  • Costing obesity and reporting to the All-Party Parliamentary Group
  • Learnings from costing audits and implementing PLICS
  • Structured networking workshops
