Workshops to discuss policy proposals for 2020 national tariff
From 2-17 September we will be holding a series of workshops to discuss policy proposals for the 2020 national tariff as well as longer-term payment system developments. Each workshop will last for three hours and places are limited. Please book your places here.
Tell us your view on outpatient pricing
We are currently running a survey on non-mandatory prices for advice and guidance services and non-face-to-face and non-consultant-led outpatient activity.
Deadline for completing the survey is 23 August 2019. We would love to hear your views.
Webinars on blended payments
As part of our engagement on the 2020/21 National Tariff we are considering developing blended payment approaches for outpatient services, maternity services and adult critical care services. To support engagement on these proposals we will be running three webinars at the end of August, which will give detailed information on the potential changes and will provide opportunities for questions and feedback.
Details for the three webinars are as follows:
Blended payment for outpatient services - Tuesday 27 August, 12.30pm-1.30pm - Register here.
Blended payment for maternity services - Wednesday 28 August, 12.30pm-1.30pm - Register here.
Blended payment for adult critical care services - Thursday 29 August, 12.30pm-1.30pm - Register here.
Looking for views on SCCL
In the 2019/20 national tariff, the cost uplift factor was adjusted to reflect the overhead costs of the new NHS Supply Chain (operated by Supply Chain Coordination Limited – SCCL). We would be very interested to hear about your experience with SCCL to date and to what extent the policy has changed the way you procure goods and services. If you are willing to provide some feedback and be involved in a small programme of work, please contact email@example.com.
Local variations published
We have published the local variations that have been submitted to date, using the simplified local variations template.
Commissioners should submit completed templates by 30 June 2019 or within 30 days of agreement being reached.
