Using experience based design to improve patient services

The experience based design approach is a way of bringing patients and staff together in re-designing services. This method has been developed to help frontline NHS teams make the improvements their patients really want.

This approach will yield a wealth of qualitative data that can be used to measure the impact of your improvements and inform future improvements to patient services.
