Health Education England: Genomics Education Programme

Health Education England’s (HEE) Genomics Education Programme resources have been created to ensure the NHS workforce has the knowledge, skills and experience necessary as genomic medicine moves beyond specialist clinics and into mainstream care.

The Genomics Education Programme has produced a guide to all the online education and training opportunities we have developed for NHS staff to date, including several specially tailored to healthcare scientists.

Learn about the technology and applications of whole genome sequencing, hear from scientists outlining the important steps to take when handling patient samples for genomic testing, and discover the principles behind a systematic method of assessing tumour samples going forward for genomic sequencing.

Our new guide includes links to all courses, as well as a wide range of complimentary e-learning resources, videos, animations and factsheets.
