This case study shows how Stockport NHS Foundation Trust improved retention of newly appointed staff by enabling clearer progression opportunities.

Stockport NHS Foundation Trust looked to improve the retention of their nurses by reviewing their process for recruiting band 6 nurses. In doing so, they empowered their existing staff to seek progression in their careers, and also ensured that their selection process was more accurate in appointing the right people.
