This maternal and neonatal quality improvement project was delivered by Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

This project aimed to reduce term admissions to the neonatal unit due to hypoglycaemia or hypothermia at Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, through the introduction of a thermoregulation package. The case study describes how the trust's improvement team undertook this project as part of the maternal and neonatal health safety collaborative to improve care for neonates, and explains the context, aims, method and approach, outcomes and learning points from their quality improvement work.
