Improving services for people with profound and multiple learning disabilities
Outlines the scope of the Carousel Project.
The fundamental premise of the project was that by creating local opportunities for people with PMLD to be physically active, intellectually engaged and socially connected, their health and lives would improve.
It was also envisaged that indirectly this provision would improve the lives of their family carers.
The project aimed overall, to improve access to sustainable local services for people with PMLD from Lambeth.
