Inspiring improvement – kick starting a year of support for providers

(0)

NHS Improvement and the Faculty of Improvement are holding a one-day event to kick start an intensive ‘year of improvement’ support for NHS trusts and foundation trusts.

What can I expect on the day?

We all know that improvements are needed urgently and we need to act now so that we can continue to deliver high quality care to patients. This event will focus on how we can make this happen through insights from Faculty members, NHS Improvement’s teams and the people across the country who are already doing it.

This will be a day interaction and active learning where we’ll focus on:

  • how we can make improvements through insights from Faculty members, NHS Improvement’s teams and most importantly providers across the country
  • the practical support on offer to you
  • giving you an understanding of what tools and resources are available
  • making new contacts and joining new networks

You’ll have the chance to share your work with others as well as learn, and to leave with at least one new useful idea, big or small, to implement when you get back.

Dr Mike Durkin, NHS National Director for Patient Safety and member of our Faculty of Improvement, talks about giving clinicians, hospitals and general practices time and space to improve.

Hear from other Faculty members and find out what improvement means to them.

How can I get involved?

Even if you’ve not managed to secure a place to the event, you can still get involved on the day by watching our live streaming of the event, asking questions and voting on the key themes and discussions, and following our hashtag #improve365 on Twitter.

What does improvement mean to you?

Join in the conversation #improve365 and tell us what improvement means to you.
