Mandating patient-level costs for acute activity

We have now launched our proposals on mandating patient-level costs for acute activity from the 2018/19 financial year.

This consultation is now closed.  We are reviewing responses and will publish a decision in early 2018.

This consultation asks for views on our proposals for mandating patient-level costs for the acute sector. However, we welcome feedback from other sectors. This will form part of our work to extend mandated patient-level costing to other sectors.

The documents set out our proposals and the work we have done to assess the impact.
