We want to increase our current network of patient and public representatives to help with the following areas of our patient safety work:
- personal experiences as patients, carers or service users
- experiences of different communities or groups of patients/service users
- issues relating to improving equality and diversity
- insight into the information and understanding that patients require when receiving treatment
These roles will contribute to our vision for the NHS to become devoted to continuous learning and improvement, in order to continuously reduce the risk of harm to patients.
