South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust has taken a whole system approach to improving its emergency care performance, and the impact has been felt across the hospital. After identifying a clear connection between patient flow and mortality, the Trust focused on addressing variability to align capacity with demand and improve flow, quality and productivity.
