Working with bereaved families and carers

NHS England has developed guidance for NHS providers on how to engage with bereaved families and carers whose loved one has passed away.

The purpose of this guidance is to provide advice to NHS providers (and services commissioned by NHS specialised commissioning) regarding expected practice on how to engage, and work effectively with families following a death.
